Initial veClient Payment for 2010 Cycle
For the past three years, we have used Google Checkout as the means for using a credit card to pay access fees and applicant record fees to NAAHP for the services of VirtualEvals. Google Checkout is secure, efficient and easier for NAAHP staff than processing checks or phoned in credit card information. We are continuing to use Google Checkout. If you wish to pay by check see the details at the bottom of this screen.
- You can pay by credit card (institutional or personal) or by check.
- You can choose to pay upfront only the $100 access fee and be billed later for the applicant records ($10 per applicant record).
- You can choose to pay upfront the $100 access fee and to include prepayment for an estimated number of applicant records.
- If you overpay this year, we will credit your payment to next year’s cycle.
- If you overpaid for the 2009 cycle by less than $100, we will issue a Google coupon which will credit your 2010 account with the amount by which you overpaid for 2009. (Note: if you overpaid in 2009 by more than $100 we have already let you know that we already applied that credit to 2010)
- When you use Google Checkout, you will immediately receive a printable email confirmation for your records.
In the past we have sent invoices in November and the following April (at the end of the cycle) . For the 2010 cycle, we will send invoices in August 2009 to cover the applicant records that have been posted by that date. That payment will be due 2 weeks after the invoice is sent. We will invoice again in November (due in December) to cover the applicant records you create after the August invoice but before the November invoice. The last date to post a PDF on VirtualEvals for the 2010 cycle will be in early April 2010. After that date, we will run our final billing report and send the final invoices in April 2010. Payment will be due before you can register for the 2011 application cycle in May 2010.
If you used Google Checkout for the 2009 cycle, you will already have an account. Please note that if there have been any changes to your credit card, you will need to edit your payment methods before you use our Google Checkout link. Go to http://checkout.google.com. Log into your Google Checkout account and make those changes. Once you use the link to go to our payment site you will not be presented with an option to edit your billing method/credit card info. So be sure to do that first if needed.
When you click on the GoogleCheckout button below:
If you do not have a Google Account, will also see a screen to create a Google account for using Google checkout. There is no charge for this account and the information is highly secure.
Please note that if you already use Google for email or other functions, you will get a sign in screen requesting your Google login and password. If your Google account is a personal one, you may want to click on “sign in as a different user” to create a separate Google account for this purpose–particularly if you are using an institutional credit card. Or you may already have a different account for institutional purposes. Just make sure you use the correct account.
When you create a Google account, there are two address lines. Please include your institution name in one of them. This helps us track the institution making the payment. Sometimes the payment is made by someone in the financial office and we don’t recognize the name.
Finally, as great as Google is, sometimes it’s not as flexible as I’d like. Your receipt will say “your order has been shipped” which of course is a euphemism for “your payment is complete and when we open VE you will be able to access it.”
From the dropdown menu below, select the payment you want to make and then click on the Buy Now button.
